This week — FINAL Screening: Stacy Has A Thing For Black Guys
Join us at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center for the final screening of the movie that Dallas Art Beat called "unforgiving... shocking... an emotional roller coaster". Written and directed by Ruben Carrazana, Stacy Has a Thing For Black Guys is an independent feature film based on the stage play which TheaterJones called "fiercely funny in unexpected ways". Come support local indie films with a movie shot entirely in Dallas, and featuring an all-local cast and crew.
About the film: Three people sit in a living room. A white married couple. And a black man. Drinking lemonade. And making small talk. As the night goes on, what started off as a safe and silly sex farce suddenly becomes darker and more violent as hidden prejudices bubble up to the surface.
Complimentary drinks and snacks will be served after the movie to celebrate our final screening of 2019.
