ABOUT THE ARTIST
The youngest child of immigrants Dante grew up stomping around the suburbs of Dallas. Growing up and never quite fitting in Martinez finger-paints a picture of a young man trying to find himself while always disappointing his parents. Starting from going to college to learn how to become an actor and then soaring to such great heights as waiting tables deep into his adulthood Martinez tells the story of a second generation working class Latino artist trying to figure out why people are laughing at him.
