Join us for the opening reception of Joaquin Soto's exhibit in the AMOC Underground Gallery, as a part of the Community Gallery Series.

Join us in the Underground for Joaquin Soto's Community Gallery "Marks in Time." Clay is a material that can be soft as mud, or hard as stone. For as long as humanity has existed, so has the pottery trade. This is the collection of pieces taking a material so useful through history and using it as a creative outlet. These abstract pieces are marks in time. The texture, scratches and marks placed in the clay will forever be a reminder of that particular moment in history. In the end these works are simply an expression of the artist in the particular time of creation. On display Sept 2nd through Sept 15th, with an opening event Sept 2nd, 6-8pm.

Acompáñenos a la Galería Comunitaria "Marcas en el Tiempo" de Joaquin Soto. La arcilla es un material que puede ser blando como el barro o duro como la piedra. Desde que existe la humanidad, también lo ha hecho el comercio de cerámica. Esta es la colección de piezas que toman un material tan útil a lo largo de la historia y lo utilizan como una salida creativa. Estas piezas abstractas son marcas en el tiempo. La textura, los rasguños y las marcas colocadas en la arcilla serán para siempre un recordatorio de ese momento particular de la historia. Al final estas obras son simplemente una expresión del artista en el momento particular de la creación. En exhibición del 2 al 15 de septiembre, con un evento de apertura el 2 de septiembre, de 6 a 8 p.m.
