AiR Aliyah Cydonia's Community Offering is a two-part workshop aimed at archiving family stories through hands-on collage-making, image transferring, communal conversation, and recording oral histories!

The workshops will unfold over two weeks, with the first focusing on conversation, collage composition, and image transfer, while the second will involve presenting collages and recording stories in AMOC's recording studio (if you wish).

We encourage you to bring items to incorporate into your collages. Participants will engage in creating personalized collages using cloth, old shirts, printed photos, and modge podge. This is a multi-generational event -- bring your loved ones! We are excited for the opportunity to engage older generations. Aliyah created these workshops with the intention to foster intergenerational understanding and preserve family histories while reflecting on the significance of familial bonds. She hopes for participants to not only walk away with their collages, but also a deepened familia connection and ownership over their family narratives.
