To a Place I Once Called Home w/ Chukwudi Ukonne

What would you say to the place you once called home?

October 11 | 1:00pm-3:00pm | $15

October 11 | 1:00pm-3:00pm | $15

This guided writing workshop with AMOC Artist-in-Residence Chukwudi Ukonne invites participants to compose letters to a place left behind—whether a city, country, person, habit, or even a state of mind. The letters may hold grief, celebration, memory, or unsaid words, offering a way to speak across time and distance.

Through a short grounding meditation, a shared reading, and guided prompts, participants will write and reflect in a supportive environment. Each person will have the option to share their letter in small groups and to place it into a collective installation—a “Letter Wall”—that holds the voices of many.
