As part of the Artist-in-Residence (AiR) at Arts Mission Oak Cliff, Chelita McDuffie will be offering an engaging community workshop that introduces participants to the traditional Japanese technique of Sashiko stitching and indigo dyeing. This hands-on experience invites students to explore slow stitching as a meditative art while creating their own hand-dyed and hand-stitched fabric swatch. All materials will be provided and no sewing experience needed. Ages 15+. Limited to 10 participants.
