Every fall, Burning Woman brings together a curated collection of Dallas-based
performing artists to share their passion for the environment. Showcasing a variety of
performances October 16-17 at Arts Mission Oak Cliff, Burning Woman celebrates and
honors our vital connection with Earth.
This year's outstanding lineup of new work from local creatives includes:
Spoken word performances by Armando Monsivais, Stefanie Wasserman and Ashley Wilkerson
Live music by BB Carter and Nova Pangea
Contemporary dance by Brevity Dance Company, Emmy De Jesus, Herrera Dance Project, Allen LaPoint and Yezi of Movement Empress
For the first time, Burning Woman will be performed in the round, bringing the audience closer to the performers. Come experience the magic at Burning Woman!
Burning Woman was founded by Over the Bridge Arts in 2018, and is directed by Lori
Sundeen Soderbergh.
