Drawing Circle is a weekly gathering for all skill levels, from first-timers to seasoned artists. Each session explores a mix of techniques: collaborative, realistic, imaginative, and self-reflective drawing. Whether you come once or every week, you'll find a welcoming space to learn, experiment, and enjoy the process.
Materials are provided, and you're always welcome to bring something to share.
About the instructor
The first drawing An Lusk remembers making featured a pink stegosaurus and green palm trees, and it hung in their father’s office for years.
An Lusk is an artist whose creative practice fuels their life.
Born in Texarkana, USA, An studied art history, dance, history, music, sculpture, classical literature, and philosophy at Texarkana College (A.S.), Stephen F. Austin State University (B.A.), and the University of Dallas (M.A.).
They have three years of volunteer teaching experience in the USA and Chile, along with five years teaching grade school and one year at the college level. An currently lives in Dallas, Texas, with their plants.
