School-age kids from first grade to middle school are welcome. Parents are also encouraged to attend.

DPD officers will discuss some possible risky situations for children and how to respond:

• Safe travel in or near the neighborhood

• Being home alone and what to do in various situations

• Interacting with strangers

• Dealing with a loose dog

• Cyber risks

• Mother Nature (bee stings, etc.)

• Fireworks

• Weather

• Swimming pool/boating

• Normal play (bruises from falling off a swing, etc.)

There will be ice cream and cookies for all kids and parents.
