Volunteer at Prom 2026: Cirque du AMOC
Prom is Arts Mission Oak Cliff’s signature fundraising event, bringing our community together for an unforgettable evening in support of affordable space, creative opportunity, and artist-led programming.
This year, the Sanctuary will transform into Cirque du AMOC, an elegant and imaginative celebration inspired by the wonder of the circus. Bringing that vision to life takes a lively cast of artists, helpers, builders, decorators, and behind-the-scenes problem solvers.
Whether you want to perform beneath the lights, help welcome guests, or lend a hand transforming the space, there is a place for you in the Circus.

Help us transform Arts Mission Oak Cliff into a world of wonder.
Our Decoration Chair will lead the creative vision, and volunteers will help bring that vision into the room. Setup may include assembling decorative elements, arranging furniture, hanging signage, styling tables, placing props, and preparing guest areas.
No professional design experience is required. We are especially excited to work with people who enjoy decorating, building, organizing, or making a space feel magical.
Decoration setup will take place before Prom, with final scheduling shared with registered volunteers.

When the final curtain falls, we need a team to help return the building to its everyday form.
Strike volunteers will assist with taking down decorations, organizing reusable materials, moving furniture, packing supplies, and clearing event spaces. This is an active, hands-on volunteer opportunity and may involve lifting, carrying, and working later in the evening or the following day.
A strong strike team helps us protect the historic Sanctuary, preserve decorations for future use, and close the event safely and efficiently.
Prom is a fundraising event that directly supports Arts Mission Oak Cliff's mission of providing affordable space and opportunities for artists. Because proceeds from the evening help make that work possible, performance opportunities for Prom are volunteer-based.
While we are unable to offer performance fees for this event, we recognize the value of your artistry. Artists who perform at Prom are invited to discuss future venue support with the AMOC team, including potential rehearsal or performance space exchanges based on each artist's needs and availability.
If you're interested in building a relationship with Arts Mission Oak Cliff, showcasing your work to a community of arts supporters, and exploring future collaborations, we'd love to start that conversation.
Come One, Come All
You do not need previous event experience to volunteer. You only need a willingness to collaborate, follow direction, and help us create something extraordinary.
Complete the volunteer form and let us know how you would like to be involved. Our team will follow up with additional details, scheduling, and next steps as Prom approaches.
